In life
Such matter being defined in the context of my personal experience

Things just don’t work out
At least not for me

The fears concerns, hesitations and risks
All come through
And then some

So when I latched onto a career of choice
Before some ten plus years

I got married to the shorts.

I make money
And it fits my experiences

So hate me not
Life provides me with enough personal misery
I don’t need yours too

Down and out I placed the bid
From the crowd you were hid

But when the Ipod came to fame
Investors loudly shout your name!

My dear Apple, I love you so!
But with this mortgage, it’s time to go

Just yonder
If only it will arrive
As market forces dictate
Are not these forces economic truths
By what power do they bend to the whims of men?

Needs of nations
And the stock of supply
In but a few trades emasculated and overshadowed
The tools which I have been given and earned no longer fit the task

Youth! More hours have I spent in the markets
Than you have spent with your hearts beating

Know it alls you think you are
And your wages convince you that it is so

But you have not seen it all;
You have not seen the big, black bear

He will crush you
Unawares
Pain you do not know will come
With escape not to be found

Respect me not
But heed my warning

Some time
The big, black bear shall return

They say the market is a forgiving friend
To those who know it well

My secret is deep and dark
I do not share, I do not tell

I planned and obsessed as a wise man should
When fortune came my way

With grace and cleverness I acted
Alas, said fortune did not stay

The market is no friend of mine
Like a loose lady, the feelings were not real

Under pressure you will not know
I acted harshly, but I did not steal

At IPO, with risks abound, I was present

But how you price I do not know

Some days valuations are nearly fair
And others they’re nowhere near

But I know that if with patience I wait
Attractive pricing is the inevitable fate
