Market Poetry is an attempt to (mis)apply literary creativity to investing. It is a compilation of poems, limericks, haikus, sonnets and other literary forms donated by all sorts of folks.
Investing is an integral part of our lives. Many of our hopes and dreams are impacted by what happens to our investments. Investing is also emotionally engaging, offering drama, suspense, and frustration to all placers of capital. The possibility of financial ecstasy and the threat of painful losses are inherent to the process. No less engaging than love or spirituality–both favorite topics of the poets–we believe that investing is worthy of a few verses of its own.
